In a bid to save birds from the scorching heat a Specially abled girl Smile Sharma, a student of BMS second year aged 19 Years from Govind Nagar Udhampur took the lead and Protected them from scorching Heat by arranging water in waste Plastic Material and Mud Pots in her House to spread an Massage of Love.
She said that the summer has is here for a while now and as Udhampur heats up, we are all looking for ways to cool ourselves. If the heat can bother us, it bothers the birds as well? Therefore she decided to arrange water for the birds as their population is dwindling everyday because of pollution and heat. Smile added that “With summer worsening, most of the natural water resources of the birds have dried up. Not only humans, but animals too get affected due to the increase in temperature and suffer from dehydration. From this single mud pot, at least 100 birds can drink water”. She added that everyone can contribute by keeping an earthen bowl of water in their balconies or terrace, scatter bajra (millet) or rice for their tiny little guests to feast on. She added that a collective initiative is needed to help these birds to co-exist with us.
she added that I want that all human Being should keep a vessel or a pot full of water on their terrace to help the hapless birds.
